You really need audible guide for the Palace.

You really need audible guide for the Palace. Official website stated upgrading audible, so unavailable. Think Alhambra overrated. Be careful of other companies can be expensive. Loved Sacromonte. Wanted to visit this and Flemenco show in Sacromonte. On leaving, scooter-bike stopped revving engine looking at us (I taking photo) thinking can be rob these two. Husband fronted them. They drove away. Be vigilant. Will not go back as done the things I wanted to do but a lovely place to visit for couples and friends, not children.

Granada was lovely but even after lots of research we found that the Alhambra and Alcacería were really the only things to do apart from walk around old town. If we had stayed longer we might have found some things outside of the city to do but would have been happy with a shorter stay. Our favorite restaurants were Mama Sambas (newer) and Mas Que Vino (older and much less touristy, but our favorite, hands down. The goat cheese/ham/caramelized onion tostada was delightful, as were the staff). The Alhambra was amazing as advertised and we were glad we didn't walk up the hill to get there, and just walked back down. Beware the ladies at the bottom of the hill who will try to read your fortune

Our family absolutely fell in love with Granada!

Our family absolutely fell in love with Granada! It’s one of those places that has a little bit of everything — history, beauty, great food, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Of course, the highlight of our trip was visiting the Alhambra. Even the kids were amazed — the palace feels like something out of a storybook, with its intricate carvings, peaceful courtyards, and stunning views over the city. We took our time wandering through the gardens of the Generalife, and it was just breathtaking. Tip for families: go early in the morning to avoid the crowds! Granada itself is so much fun to explore on foot. We loved strolling through the Albaicín, getting lost in the narrow cobblestone streets, and stopping for tapas in little local bars. The people were friendly everywhere we went, and the food was delicious — we all agreed that churros with chocolate became our new favorite breakfast at Viacolon. What really stood out was how family-friendly the city felt. There’s so much to see and do, but it never felt stressful. Whether it was exploring the old neighborhoods, relaxing in a plaza with ice cream, or watching the sunset over the Alhambra from Mirador de San Nicolás, every moment felt special. And if it happens to be during Halloween, it's even better. We left Granada with full hearts and so many great memories. It’s a city that captures your imagination — and one we’ll definitely come back to someday.

Was extremely disappointed that we couldn’t get tix for the Alhambra once we were there. I could not book in advance because I wasn’t sure I’d be able to go on the whole trip at that time. There is essentially no refund available. Went to see the Lorca museum but it was closed (on a Saturday) because of a holiday (Day of Dead). Didn’t know that. We ate at Syrian restaurant. The food was good and well-priced. Travelling by bus, taxi and on foot was easy. But Granada is a lovely town. The people we encountered were extremely friendly and talkative.

Stick to the old part of Granada and it is characterful & interesting. The must see is the Alhambra - stunning ! It was very crowded which spoiled the experience a bit. Be sure to book entrance tickets well in advance - they sell out every day !

I simply Love Granada, this was my 5th time and I will be going again very soon, I just love the vibe and the atmosphere, the Alhambra is entrancing and i could look at it all day and not get bored. The weather was beautiful and helped immensely, the choice of restaurants and cafe's and places of interest are vast, a sheer joy. Parking is an issue but not if you plan ahead.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel, the entrance hall is stunning. Check in easy, no keys all electronic on codes. Beautiful room, with a four poster canopy bed with en-suite. I was worried when I found that my room was next to a bar, but I needn't have, there was little or no noise. Heating provided by ac on hot. Shutters on the windows to keep out the light. Nice TV in the room. Superb location for Granada, for shopping, restaurants and bars and walking distance to Alhambra.

We had Room 15, a GORGEOUS room with panoramic views of the Alhambra (even in the bathroom!) and very private. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than what i have at home! The hotel won the award for best restoration of a historic building in Spain (we saw the award), and it is obvious why it won. Beautiful place, perfect location, impeccable and highly organized, friendly staff. Absolutely worth what we paid for this room. We were sad to leave it!

Perfect place near Alhambra. The hotel was just fine for our stay in Granada. It's not in the city centre but there's a bus Station nearby or a short Walk. It's really close to the main exit to Alhambra. The rooms were clean and spacious.
