It was so Nice little hotel. Supernice room with soft and clean beds. Toilet and shower was new and very clean. Breakfast was really good with yoggi, cheese, fresh fruits, bread to toast, boiled eggs good Coffee and cake.

The view from the rooftop terrace is just extraordinary! Everything you need in a vacation house as a couple, is present. Jorge is a very friendly and competent host. He helped us when we needed it the most in a stressful situation regarding our rental car. I would recommend Casa El Tajaraste when staying in Hermigua.

Beutiful old rural house well equiped with everything you need . Location rather decentral, but if you are looking for quiet place with amazing view of sea, you are right here. Drinking coffee on the terace early in the morning was unforgettable.

It’s a beautiful village nestled in the mountains.

It’s a beautiful village nestled in the mountains. It’s close to the national park and if you like hiking then it’s ideal but I’d suggest having a car as the local bus timetable is very confusing and not very frequent.

Everywhere was shut we arrived on 28 June but apparently all the local restaurants close during June for their annual vacation we should have been told this there was absolutely nowhere to eat our apartment was not accessible as my husband has mobility problems he is 77 years old we were expecting to use the Infinity pool which was a plunge pool with approx 6 inches of filthy gree water photo included

If you like tranquility, walks and hikes, time away from any tourism It has a well stocked local shop and a health food shop with German bread Parking is a challenge in the village and having had parking with accommodation was a relief. Restaurant Faro is incredible- need to book though, very popular Not a beach vacation but wonderful hikes all around

It could be the best hiking place on La Gomera.

It could be the best hiking place on La Gomera. The village is surrounded by mountains of about 800-1000 meters, making it very picturesque place. As for hiking there are a few hiking paths going through the village, I made three nearly circular paths for 30-20-30 km, so there are variants.

Beautiful picturesque place , places to see & things to do, nice food, nice people, la Caleta beach is not for the faint of heart, up a risky mountain , we turned around half way , as still had an up hill climb and the a decent to the beach , I found it a bit scary. Lol

Hermigua is a great base to visit other towns and villages...

Hermigua is a great base to visit other towns and villages in the north of La Gomera and also Garajonay National Park. There is a good selection of local bars/cafes and a handful of restaurants too. I particularly enjoyed the food in Bar Mariela and Cafe Gara, and also enjoyed the more local bar feel and watching sport in Cafe Don Juan.

Clean and spacious apartment, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, kitchen fully equipped. It is a perfect place for calm and romantic stay with a terrace and a view on green slopes on the other side of the valley. We also enjoyed a nearby Bar Pedro with delicious food and coffee. Last but not least very kind and helpful host, we would definitely choose same place visiting La Gomera in future.

Wonderful hotel, situated high up in Hermigua. Very chilled place. Classic blended with modern in style. Very clean. We stayed in the suite which was spacious and well furnished. Comfortable bed.
