Perfect location near Burgos in delightful small village. We were travelling to the ferry in Bilbao. The host, David, was great. The staff here were warm and welcoming. The albergue was modern, clean and spacious. ‘Great hot and cold drink selection and the communal dinner was delicious. Also a really nice relaxing space for after your walk - yoga mats, rocking chair, hammock seat. I would happily do a rest day here. The albergue makes a really big effort to keep their carbon footprint low as well.

Bedroom was comfy. Downstairs the stove made it very cosy. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and nice to have tea and coffee there. It was a great stop on a cold wet day walking on camino!

We stayed at Camino de Rabe while on the Camino. We liked the extra room with the couch and the downstairs family room. The village was unbelieveablly quiet and we loved listening to the birds. We had breakfast at Bar Fuente. The staff at the bar were was friendly and helped us find a taxi to Hontanas, where we had out next reservation. One of us got sick during the night with a stomach bug and felt very weak the next day. The staff at Hotel de Rabe was very forwardcoming and let us stay til 12:00pm

We stayed in the Superior Double Room with both breakfast and dinner included. We enjoy both meals and would recommend trying it out. We also tried the wellness room (€10 per person per hour) featuring a steam room and a sauna room. The room was very spacious (biggest we have stayed in our trip around Basque county) and the design was modern and thoughtful. The staff were all very friendly and spoke good English. The lounge was also peaceful and a good place to spend some time. There are broadgames if you come in a group.

Next to the University of Burgos, Hostal Campus offers free Wi-Fi. Burgos Bus station connected to Madrid is 1 km away while you can drive to Burgos Airport in 10 minutes.

The Hostal is in a lovely quiet location, Miguel is very friendly and helpful, everything was good and the walk to the Hostal is from the centre of burgos is nice too
