I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem.

I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem. My room outstanding , food outstanding . I may have liked a shuttle bus maybe going down to the Centre twice a day. I am 76yrs old and I did walk down and back up and to be honest I didn’t think I could do it But I did and was very proud of myself! Lovely to see the very old villages and the beautiful churches.

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning.

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is set in a beautiful dining area with a wide variety of food. Dinner is served by really friendly staff. They work really hard to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Rooms are super comfortable and fresh towels are delivered every day. We had room service a couple of times and this too was exceptional.

We stayed at Paradores, Lorca in August.

We stayed at Paradores, Lorca in August. It's an absolute gem with stunning views, outstanding service, great food and beautiful rooms. The staff are amazing, kind, caring and friendly, they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our birthday dinner at the hotel was extra special because of Hasnae and Mereia, they presented a birthday cake and sang happy birthday, a wonderful memory we shall treasure. We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Lorca, you'll receive a first class service. We're looking forward to going back next year, this time for two weeks.

Great historical city. Plenty to see and do.

Great historical city. Plenty to see and do. Mixture if old and modern areas. Friendly people and good selection of bars and restaurants. All accessible within walking distance from our hotel. The theatre in the square is surrounded by a fab selection of tapas bars and we found a brilliant little pizzaria to the side of the theatre.

Lorca reflects 2000 years of human settlement in a daunting and beautiful environment . The river and the citadel shape the traditional way of life.........trees and deep verandas line the streets both in the old town and the new stylish suburbs.

The attendants in the spa seamed to be a little...

The attendants in the spa seamed to be a little inexperienced as there was no initial assessments and when told that they needed to be deeper in the massage as I suffer in the shoulder areas you could not feel any benefit as they were not physically able to relieve any knots that were present.

We arrived by bicycle and were able to keep our bikes in a secure cycle storeroom. The views from the Lorca Parador are great, though our room didn't actually have the best view it was still pleasant. The ambience of the terrace bar was lovely, if a little windy, The air conditioning was very effective and the quietest I have ever come across. We have visited the Castle which adjoins the hotel before, and would recommend visiting it and the old castle remains around the Parador. All in all a great experience.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the room was nice and quiet. However, the cleanliness needs improvement—one towel was dirty and the sheets were stained. Also, due to roadworks nearby, getting to the hotel was tricky. It would help if the hotel informed guests in advance and suggested an alternative route.

The hotel looks beautiful with lots of style, it has very comfortable beds, okay breakfast, a free gym, free parking, a modern TV and a useful room layout. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Oh yes, also got room in the groundfloor (a first!) which was ideal. Lovely wholegrain bread at breakfast.
