The whole place was absolutely spotless. We loved the quiet location - listening to the birdsong in the evening and morning was stunning. We hadn’t booked food but as there isn’t anywhere close by we asked to book when we arrived. Menu was short but delicious and we were only sorry we didn’t have room for the home made dessert. Hosts were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble.

Location was convenient to the Camino del Norte, which was helpful. The building is elegant from a previous century, and the room had wood floors, dormer windows, a modern bathroom and comfy bed. The room was large and well-appointed. I slept like a dream. The location is convenient to the port as well as the main neighborhoods. No breakfast, but a wonderful cafe open early was right on the corner nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Luarca.

Andrea messaged a couple of days in advance to arrange meeting when we arrived in Luarca. When we arrived she was available soon to meet me and hand over the keys. She was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice and clean and well appointed, I would happily have stayed here for a while. We were travelling by bicycle and could store our bikes indoors. Luarca is a lovely town with nice restaurants and cafes, and all is easily accessible from the apartment location.

Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya...

Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya in the entire city. It is not touristic at all, you rarely hear other languages than Spanish. The restaurants offer the most delicious and fresh seafood , the large variety of Bizkaya and Atlantic fish and regional food. You can have a walk on the 3 moles or climb up to one of the seaside hills. You should not be afraid of rain and a part of the buildings is empty and not well-kept, so there is some lost places charme.

Very nice harbour.

Very nice harbour. Very good beach which unfortunately was not cleaned. Restaurants sufficient choice. Restaurant Miramar was our favourite. But we have to add that we were there only 3 nights, so no chance to compare much. Quite enough space to walk and see different things. The parking was very reasonable in the time we were there. We parked at the public carparks near the beach.

The center of Luarca is pretty and quite small, very pleasant for strolling. On the downside, some places rip off tourists, as happened to us at the El Duernu cider house, where they charged us €5 for a bottle of cider that wasn't even a protected designation of origin. I'm from Asturias, I drink a lot of cider, and I'd never been charged that much before. Easy money!

It has nearby beaches that are truly wonderful; we even witnessed the awarding of the Blue Flag at Frejulfe beach. There are several very good restaurants, but the one we liked best in terms of quality and price was La Montañesa. There is plenty of parking, and since there is a wide variety of excellent restaurants and bars, finding a spot isn't a problem. We also used nearby beaches.

Nice and clean apartment in the heart of Luarca.

Nice and clean apartment in the heart of Luarca. Parking isn't right outside, but it is within walking distance (up the hill near the station). The coast and inland areas are easily accessible. Asturias boasts a beautiful coastline with cliffs, bays, and beaches.

I've visited Luarca many times because it's a town I really like. There are good restaurants and pleasant walks. The botanical garden is spectacular. Walks around the port, the cemetery, and the hermitage of San Roque are highly recommended. I'll be back.

Location was convenient to the Camino del Norte, which was helpful. The building is elegant from a previous century, and the room had wood floors, dormer windows, a modern bathroom and comfy bed. The room was large and well-appointed. I slept like a dream. The location is convenient to the port as well as the main neighborhoods. No breakfast, but a wonderful cafe open early was right on the corner nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Luarca.

The location and the flat are beautiful, clean and very welcoming! Monika and Guillermo are two very wonderful people who made me feel welcome right away, and always there if I had a question through my entire trip. Luarca is a cute village with many lovely people, lots to explore and beautiful hikes along the coast!
