.A very cozy and comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The neighbors were very pleasant and contributed to a warm atmosphere. This hotel is a gem! The staff are fabulous, the rooms are so comfortable, spacious and the hotel inside and out are beautifully cleaned and maintained. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on this but dinner was absolutely delicious. Beautifully cooked, seasoned and plated attractively. The night we stayed was very quiet, so the whole restaurant was ours! This was the first night of our motorbike tour of Spain and Portugal, we would definitely stay here again.

    It is a working town, functional, but a gateway to mountains...

    It is a working town, functional, but a gateway to mountains and sea. Having a car to explore the area would be easiest, but Oviedo is only 20 minutes away by public transport. The coastline is beautiful but if you want to party and be in a hub, this may not be for you, apart from the cider bars which are great fun, and great traditional seafood, it isn't a party town.

    I was worried about finding the building and accessing the apartment, after reading previous reviews. My own experience was rather smooth. The host contacted me and kept me informed of the procedure to find the building and access the apartment. Once I entered the apartment the room and facilities were very good and everything looked clean and well maintained. Mieres is a charming small town and everything of interest is near to the apartment building.
