It’s a true palace. The pearl in a heart of the 16th century spanish town. There are authentic, delightfully made, azulejos and molduras in all the Hotel. The classic, splendid spanish atmosphere. Very clean, spacious rooms. Helpful and nice stuff. Delicious breakfast with regional dishes: migas, jamon iberico, churros, olive oil. Effective air condition. A general feel: the touch of a luxury.

Bed was extremely comfortable which is the most important feature for me, the blinds blocked out all the light and there was no noise. The hotel was in a perfect location to visit the sights and enjoy a drink and tapas within walking distance. Breakfast was very good and served with a smile, all the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much.

Liked the quality of the marble floors and tiles. Plenty of easy parking. The reception lady was very efficient and friendly. The older gentlemen waiters and bar staff were a joy, full of fun and striving to understand our limited Spanish language They had a good laugh with us and made the visit to the hotel very pleasurable.

We loved the atmosphere in the Friends' eat-café. Dinners were excellent, eat-like-the-locals. Breakfast was fine. The town of Olivenza (Olivença) is amazing, a medieval settlement in an area where people seem still have time for eachother. Lucky people that live there!
