Great little hotel with tons of charm. The host was very courteous and kind. The location was amazing - in the middle of the mountain, surrounded by the great hills and cliffs of Nature Reserve Ponga. We arrived very late and Julio even offered to fix us a quick dinner. I half expected something from a microwave but to my surprise he made us a simple but classic mountain dish from scratch.

Perfect stop over for a night near the Picos Mountains. We stayed on a Monday night and there was nowhere to eat ( apart from a hotel just down the road that did a special meal for us , so kind .) Be warmed to check on restaurants when you stay here. Lovely hotel , clean and tidy and good value. They have a cafe that does breakfast so you won’t starve!

I visited La Venta de Miyares with my wife and two children and we all loved it here! Our expectations were high based on previous reviews and we were not dissapointed! The house and the surrounding area is simply stunning and Carmen was a helpful, welcoming and pleasant host. Our room was spacious, clean and beatiful. The breakfast was excellent and there is a small but very good selection of simpler dishes available for dinner as well. We had a perfect time here and if we ever go back to Asturias we will make sure to return.

It's a private house with just 2 rooms for quests. Comfortable bed with many pillows. Nice bathroom with good pressure of hot water in the shower. Good quality shampoo and shower gel. Shared kitchen has everything you might need to cook. We could wash and dry our clothes for a little extra charge. There was an absolutely adorable cat in the house (though it belongs to a hostess's friend). My husband said that every house must have a cat like that :-) Good location if you want to travel around. Secure parking within the premises. Overall, it was a good break from staying in hotels. It must be lovely in warm weather for there are chairs and table outside.

We stayed for 2 nights at Apartamentos La Lonja during our trip around Asturias, and it exceeded our expectations. They are rural houses with unbeatable views just next to the Sella river and the mountains, with a private access to the river which made it incredible to stroll around the apartment, and an area to eat or just sit around to enjoy the views, with a barbeque available if you need it. The house in itself is quite modern and fully equipped, and we found it to be very comfortable. I will definitely repeat here for my next trip to the Cangas de Onís/Picos de Europa trip.

This place was fabulous in a rural village mountain setting. Our host was excellent, serving coffee and fresh orange juice, toast, and sweet cake every morning, she gave us names of restaurants and bars in the local town, and walks in the area and places to visit. The house itself was beautiful, our room had splendid views over the countryside, and very well equipped with Ensuite bathroom, and beautiful garden to enjoy. It came with parking and wifi and we had access to kitchen facilities also.
