From the moment you enter the Cortijo you are meet with excellent customer service. We were full board and the food was all tasty, well presented and good portions! The pools and grass area was perfect for relaxing in! The English speaking waiter was super! He played great tunes at the restaurant/ all night! It’s dog friendly too! My dog got a little welcome pack!

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The location was a little remote but in a lovely elevated position giving great views over the countryside. The guest accommodation was good with extra facilities around the property, including kitchen and fridges, giving the option to bring food for dinner and then dine with a great view. The breakfast provided was exceptional with a great selection of meats, cheese, salad and fruit.

Francisco was an impeccable host who was always available to help. Casa Julia was perfect for my needs and was actually lots better than anticipated. Despite my negative points below, they didn't unduly affect my holiday and I would highly recommend this property.

I was really impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The location was fantastic, with great bars just a short walk away. I also appreciated the convenience of having parking available right in front of the hotel. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety.

Aurelija and Brian have a beautiful B&B in a truly stunning location. They are incredibly friendly and make sure you don’t miss a thing during your stay. Everything is thought through with care and attention, which made us feel really welcome and relaxed. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of homemade products – a real treat to wake up to every morning. We were also really happy with the facilities they had for our young child, which made our stay even more enjoyable and easy. The heated pool was a big highlight for us, especially in April – it really made a difference and allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even more. We definitely recommend Casa de Ambar – it’s a special place and we’d love to come back!

Everything here is beautiful. The appartement was clean and very comfortable. This place is magic, very quiet with beautiful nature. We enjoy every moment here. Ivo is perfect host, he gave us many advices about nice trips and beautiful places around. We will come back again.

    We stayed at Casa La Vina del Arenal for 1 week, the hosts...

    We stayed at Casa La Vina del Arenal for 1 week, the hosts were very helpful and friendly. We visited Pizarra town on 2 occasions to eat out and both times the meals, price and service was spot on. There were several supermarkets and a shop which sold everything from souvenirs, pool toys to DIY items. We were reccomended a taxi company by the host and they were very reliable and fair priced. The villa was perfect for what we needed. There were 15 of us in total and this included 6 children aged 2-13. I would reccomend pre booking transfers from the airport to the villa as we were over charged by the airport taxi company by over €30. The swimming pool was perfect and we took inflatables to keep the kids entertained. The bbq area was a great addition and there were plenty of areas to sit separate to have your own space. Overall I would highly reccomend this property.

    Our second stay at the the property (we went for first time last year), and we had the perfect time. Near to the town of Pizarra and its supermarkets and a few bars, the finca works well for a weeks stay with friends and family. The finca is clean and comfortable, and isolated enough to make you feel you are away from everything. There were 12 of us and it all worked very well. The pool is very nice and was used every day.

    Sadly only stayed here the one night before our flight home from Malaga the next morning. Charming hotel set in a very rural location. Wonderful restaurant serving traditional Spanish food in a lovely setting. A nice pool to cool off in after a long days driving. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would have liked to stayed longer.

    Perfect hotel location for Caminito del Rey (30 mins drive) and airport (30 mins) restaurant was outstanding service and standard of cuisine, best we had in our 2 week stay around Granada and Cordoba. Staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful.

    The hotel was wonderful, comfortable and welcoming. We booked for lunch, dinner and breakfast at a very, very reasonable rate. The food was simply delicious and the staff very kind. We enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon, lying by the pool. Divine.
