My wife and I came to Ribadesella first around 10 years ago and fell in love with it. There are a huge number of great restaurants and places to visit and activities for everyone. Additionally, we discovered recently a lot of the restaurants cater for Coeliacs really well which is tremendous for a family with 3 Coeliacs.Guest review byBrierley - 10.0

Lovely seaside town with spectacular mountain and coastal views, good promenades and beach, plenty of eating and drinking options. Very comfortable apartment with very friendly and informative hostess/manager. On our first night it was the festival of the town's patron saint - cue midnight bonfire and fireworks - we had a grandstand view across the river from our balcony. A couple of potential snags - the beach was closed for bathing because of river pollution (but there are some great beaches not far away); and the house between us and the mountain view looked like it was scheduled for redevelopment.
