Wow! Casa Inti (Sun in Peruvian tradition, as Ronnie, the husband of Helga, an architect who designed and built the house himself (and it shows!!) is from Peru though he spent most of his life in Germany) is no doubt the best villa we have ever stayed in. There is practically no amenity you can think of that the villa does not contain. Extremely comfortable, quiet, beautiful surroundings, the view of the mountain and the ocean, the garden, and a bench overlooking the horizon and zillion stars at night. We stayed 5 days only, had we known how beautiful and interesting La Palma is and the quality of this villa we would have stayed longer. Ronnie helped us with good advice and provided hiking book.

Why didn’t you tell me about the alarm? and why did you not tell me about the device yesterday when I came? At night, I wanted to drink something and go to the kitchen and it was dark and only I tried to find the switch for the light, when I touched the device. And the alarm went on and I was advised to fill in the code that you did not give me! Therefore I tried to switch off and pressed all the buttons. And the security company phoned and asked the key word, that you didn’t give me! And the lady didn’t understand me, at least that’s what she said. It was a nightmare!

It was wonderful place and terrace, isolated and quite neighbourhood, cosy little house but at the same time very spacious, with amazing view. Enough equipment in the kitchen, spacious bathroom with everything prepared. We didn't have wifi (but we knew that before). Perfect place!

It is good base for trekking in the mountains.

It is good base for trekking in the mountains. There are basic shops, pubs, bus stops. You have a few good options for hiking right in the place and you can get by car in 1 hour almost everywhere on the island. If you are on La Palma for beaches... well, I would try another place on south but Puerto and Tazacorte is not too far.

Tijarafe is a nice little village, very calm, in the mountains. Don’t expect a typical village, but just a nice place with all the necessary commodities (supermarkets, bakery, etc… ). Nice walk to do in the surroundings. Nice people. You need a car though to get around. Few minutes away by car from the nice beach of puerto de Tazacorte (beach village with restaurants). Since the Island of La Palma is quite small, it is easy to visit all the main sites from Tijarafe.

This high tech villa with amazing views @ La Punta di Tijarafe offers multiple terraces and gardens, private pool and parking. Ultra modern kitchen with all amenities and cooking facilities. A wonderful welcome basket at arrival. Perfect wifi and good 4g coverage. Tijarafe is a 15 minutes drive, there is a small shop within half a mile. We enjoyed our 10 days stay in this quiet neighbourhood.
