The location may put some people off. Don’t let it. Once inside you could be in any good quality city hotel. Friendly, helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. We had a room for three adults and there was plenty of room. The food in the cafeteria was good quality and reasonably priced. It is very easy to get to from the main route we take and has lots of shops and bars close by with car. The 2nd floor of the Hotel has been refurbished and we found it excellent. The bed, bedding and pillows gave us the most comfortable nights sleep on our 4 day journey. The room was clean and bright, air-con perfect, shower perfect. We always stay at this hotel on our way to Alicante, which is halfway to/from Bilbao. Easy access to motorway and petrol/ diesel garage is next to hotel, nice and easy for our journey. We travel with our dog, and they have dog beds and bowls if needed. Noticed yesterday lots of luggage being delivered as we arrived, asked this morning was there a function today, they said it was a wedding yesterday.
