Very nice hosts. The appartment meets all expectations, really comfy beds, choice of pillows. The host left us some breakfast and was available to communicate throughout. We really enjoy our stay and hope to go back soon.

The property is located midway between the Santander ferry terminal and our destination in the Algarve in a community of high value housing around a golf course. Our fully laden car with some quite valuable content was parked in a secure parking area beside the apartment, which is part of the owners’ house. It is close to Caceres which is well worth a visit with its superb old town (we have been before but did not do so on this visit). Luis was an excellent host and could not have been more helpful. The apartment was large, clean, warm, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. There were more towels than we could have used in the very good bathroom and good toiletries. The good sized bedrooms have a double and a single bed, ideal for a family of four or two couples (there were 3 of us). The cost gave superb value for money and I’m sure we will return. Thanks Luis, this is probably the most glowing report I’ve written and you deserve it!

Our second stay here at this fabulous Castillo and it won’t be our last (hopefully!). A truly magnificent and atmospheric castle, loaded with history, but also modern day comforts like great heating, hot water and wifi. We splashed out on the Presidential Suite this time and it was definitely worth it. Great views out of the windows, very good shower and a comfortable bed. We were driving from Bilbao to Tarifa and it made the perfect half way stop over. No suppers provided but a grand old kitchen you are welcome to use to cook up your own food. Plus help yourself to breakfast in the morning. Easy, safe parking for our large van. We loved it - 10/10 Thank you

Very close to Caceres historical center, but in a quiet neighborhood, perfect to relax and easy to park. The flat is fully equipped, spacious, comfortable and the host was very responsive, giving us all the info and support at any time.

The Hostal was ideally situated off the main road yet fare...

The Hostal was ideally situated off the main road yet fare enough to be very peaceful and relaxing. I found the quality of sleep very good as the mattresses and pillows were of good quality. Parking is readily available right outside your block of apartments. There is a Petrol Station between the Hostal and the main road, which means refuelling before your onward journey perfect. Expect a transient atmosphere in that there are no facilities, just a single bar serving coffee, drinks and basic food. This place was a perfect overnight stay and I will definitely be returning when crossing Spain along Via de la Plata.
