    Beautiful city and people.

    Beautiful city and people. It is a Jewel in Camino de Santiago. The best is just walk through the streets and get lost finding all amazing historical treasures this city offers. From its magnificent Church of Santa María (with so many treasures including the burial of Cesra Borgia), but with its amazing welcoming flare, wee you can find a place to sit to pray, admire or just have a moment of solace and peace. The Plaza Mayor, the old Walls and Church, the Monastery, the houses and their balconies, the restaurants and the vibrant life in the Calle Mayor.

    A lovely old hotel in a very nice location.

    A lovely old hotel in a very nice location. We got a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the ruins of San Pedro. Great value for money with a very nice restaurant and bar on the ground floor.

    This beautiful historic home wraps itself around you the moment you enter. The owner Olivier contributes to what is a wonderful stay by offering a tour of the home and recounts the history (including a stay by the grandparents of the current King of Spain). My room was beautiful, bed amazing and the camaraderie of fellow guests with a glass of wine after the tour, was a pleasure. Located across the square from the old Monastery, I would have liked to spend longer to explore beautiful Viana and wonderful Casa Palaciega Dona Leocadia.

    Brilliant location right on the Camino trail and in the middle of the town. Very luxurious looking hotel. Helpful and pleasant reception staff. My room was very large and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was large and had a huge bath which was very welcome. Buffet breakfast was 10 euros extra, but it was superb.

    The location was perfect, right in the heart of Viana. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. Dave, who runs the place, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I also really enjoyed chatting with him, it made the stay feel even more personal.
