The location was breathtaking, so peaceful and quiet. The room was light, cool, and airy. The bathroom is great with the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath, which I enjoyed. It is, however, quite a drive to town for restraunts that were small over crowded and most didn't serve food until 8 or 9, which for us personally was too late . I wish the Hotel served food in the small quaint dining room as the breakfast was outstanding . The smoothies were delicious . Dinner there would have made it the perfect stay .

Well equipped and spacious kitchen and living space. Excellent outdoor/veranda facilities with barbecue area. The nearby stream and mountain views make up for the light industrial facilities in the vicinity of the the property. Some truly spectacular hikes and views all within less than a 30 minute drive from the property. The property grew on us the longer we stayed.

What a treat to stay at this amazing place in the quaint village of Garai, just above the larger town of Durango. Staff is incredible (thanks to Olatz for warm welcome and Irune for delicious breakfast and excellent tips on sites in the area!). Rooms are very cozy, we had amazing views of the mountains. The entire hotel is decorated so tastefully. We highly recommend the Herriko restaurant in town, a short stroll from hotel. Garai is an excellent base to explore the Basque region.

    Location was great and the views were lovely. Our room was perfect for our one night stay. We also went out for the evening which meant that we got back to the hotel very late in the evening, The hotel were very accommodating with our request and ensured us that all would be OK.

    The staff were super helpful. The dinners were delicious - I ate there for both my nights but would gladly have gone back again. The hotel was in a beautiful and quiet spot with amazing views of the mountains and countryside.

    Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and despite that we didn't book spa the were still slots to book. We were first a bit scared when it said silent hotel at the entrance but this wasn't very true.

    Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the moutains. The view from the breakfast room and the garden is stunning, the hotel is decorated with taste and the staff is very welcoming
