It’s a lovely seaside resort.
It’s a lovely seaside resort. Nice walks and VERY good activities for kids. However the restaurants in Kalajoki Port are very limited and after 3 days you will have tried them all. They are “OK” but to be honest our best Finnish meal was at Helsinki airport. I think there’s a real opportunity for a restaurant serving “local” food. It is on the top floor in a building with an elevator, which was helpful. The couch and bed were cozy, as was the overall feel of the apartment.
