Very nice and cosy house in a small village in French Pyrenees. Located in a little square inside the historic center👌. The fact that the bedrooms are one at the ground floor and the other at the top floor, gives you a lot of privacy. The kitchen has all the facilities, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven exterior and interior, patio with barbecue, good hairdryer, caffee machine. The only thing we didn’t like was that the towels had foul smell, they were clean but they smelled bad. I guess this is because previous guests didn’t put them to dry correctly; I suspect they made a ball with wet towels and tossed them in some far corner with no access to fresh air. So this is also a remark for the guest: dry well (=flat and in a place with access to air) the towels after each use. A part from that, everything was perfect!

The Hosts Sylvie and Franck were very friendly and welcoming. Attentive but not intrusive. The compact apartment had everything you need and was functional rather than luxurious, but that is a good thing. Excellent value for money. An ability to speak French helps, but hey! So you should.

This is a rather quirky hotel but very close to where we finished our walk for the day so we were glad we didn’t have to walk too far to find it. very congenial manager. we arrived during siesta but he was able to show us our room etc. The room had an en suite shower/toilet and a little kitchenette which was really convenient for us as we had camping food to use up so saved on eating out. But we couldn’t resist the ice creams at the local pizza restaurant - Pizzeria Julie just around the corner.

Quiet , when you want to really get away from crowds .

Quiet , when you want to really get away from crowds . Nothing much in town due to COVID restrictions but everything in reach very close by . Ceret is beautiful and a few kms away . Easy to get to Perpignan , the sea and Spain . The town does not have much to do .
