This is a lovely place to stay! And the room names - unless they've been changed since we booked - don't do them justice! It's a beautiful location with views over rolling hills, and the owner is very kind and friendly. However, it's the 'budget room' that is particularly mis-described .... in fact, this has hand-crafted furniture, designer bathroom, lovely colours and even a little sitting room. The other room (also with designer bathroom) has a beautiful view. The breakfast of eggs, jambon cru, cheese, croissants etc is very generous too. So merci tres beaucoup!

My wife and I were made very welcome by the owners and later had a splendid meal in the Hotel. We had chosen the Hotel because of its proximity to the Voie Vert cycle track. As we were between Dijon and Macon hotels on the route are very welcome. The room we were given was very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was good and the storage offered for our bikes was excellent.

The location is fabulous, and the staff are knowledgeable concerning the ruins of the Abbey nearby. The hotel is well organised and very cosy. The car parking facilities were the best I've seen.

Beautifully restored, calm and clean. Jonathan is an excellent host and takes the time with guests, especially showing children all his animals, taking the time to hunt for the chickens eggs and stroke the goats. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
