A charming 1900's doctors house on the edge of the village. The owners have taken a lot of care to create a welcoming and comfortable stay. Lots of attention to detail, from wonderfully decorated rooms to home made jams and yogurt at breakfast. We visited the castle where Richard Cur de Lion met his fate and had a pleasant stroll around the village,

Pete and Anna are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Their place was perfect for my needs as a single traveler on a motorbike tour. Safe garage parking was a great plus. Breakfast was freshly prepared and plentiful and my room was very comfortable with an excellent bed. Can’t fault it all and superb value.

Very comfortable with every creature comfort catered for. The hosts even phoned the restaurant to make us a reservation for lunch. There was lots to keep our teenagers busy. Beds were really comfy.

The gite was spacious, quiet, private, comfortable and impeccably clean. The bathroom was lovely, the shower was gorgeous. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a large fridge. We slept really well in lovely sheets and a warm duvet. You can park just at the front door, ideal. The wifi worked very well. It was too cold to make use of the garden, the pool or the hot tub but hopefully we'll come back one day.

Clean rooms and oh so quiet and the bed really comfortable. The decor and very pleasant staff; attentative without to be intrusive. An old building with lots of character. The evening meal was excellent with very good service and the breakfast more than sufficient and good quality.

    The hosts were lovely, as in France there is a wood burner, this takes time and effort to heat the room. Usually I holiday in the summer so as it’s heading into Autumn the cooler weather is expected. The little town close by does have a restaurant but was only open for a few hours daily, however there are bigger towns not too far away. There is a lovel beach lake about 40 mins walk away.
