Friendly messages and greeting at short notice. Great location. Clear explanations for things like parking. Loved the visit suggestions in the booklet for local chateaux and walks. We were with our three-month old daughter for our first trip away from home and she was safe and warm. Lovely place.

This marvelous estate is really off the beaten path, quiet, with grazing Scottish cows, and beautifully landscaped. We had a gorgeous, large suite with a huge terrace overlooking the pool. Paradise views toward a pine and Sequoia forest and the wide open plains of France! I definitely recommend our room to any future guests. The Domaine is not a huge place, probably another eight rooms or so. The decor for the whole accommodation was very artsy/French elegance. The host was marvelous and one feels as if one is visiting family, which is a hard atmosphere to pull off, but the Domaine des Chailloux is just that kind of extra special place. The surrounding area is full of wonderful places for day trips and to visit the pristine French countryside. And don't forget the great wine shopping which is everywhere. Don't make the mistake I did and stay a weekend. Stay at least 4 days or more to really let the world fall away while you enjoy this one of a kind French getaway.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this chambre d’hôtes. The hosts are amazing, they make you feel very welcome and serve an excellent dinner at night. They have great recommendations to hike, bike or visit the medieval villages of Burgundy.

The property is located in the countryside near St Boil, in Burgundy. Our bedroom was specious, very quiet & the bathroom adequate. The breakfast was delicious. Homemade with fresh ingredients, Sylvie's yoghurt bread deserves a special mention. Parking was in the courtyard. There is also a kitchen area for preparing & eating meals. The hostess, Sylvie, is charming, friendly & very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet break in the middle of the French countryside, this venue would be ideal. Highly recommended.

    Well equipped, clean, beautiful setting and nicely decorated. We loved the wine theme, the beautiful view from the little balcony, the airy bedroom and gorgeous location, only a 10 min walk from the centre of lovely Buxy. Every question I had was answered incredibly quickly as well and I can't fault the service. We can't wait to visit again and would highly recommend to any couples or small families looking for a lovely space right in the heart of Burgundy.

    Nice location, good warm welcome. The swimming pool and restaurant were nice and welcome after a long day. Staff super friendly. The hotel is showing its age but is clean. Only downside is that the air conditioning was a bit on the past its sell by date in terms of efficiency in keeping the room cold.
