We arrived early to store our luggage and were very pleased to be told our room was ready. Staff had an answer for any questions we had and were so accommodating. We enjoyed the pool in the day and playing chess in the bar at night. Also, we had dinner on the property that was available a few times a week and it was delicious! The location is walking distance to pretty much anything. Beautiful property and service.

Everything! The bedroom was the size of my living room. And a bit. And the bathroom bigger than my cinema room. With the shower that Romans of old would murder for. C.10 minutes drive from Amboise. Plenty of parking. All Great!

We had a lovely room in the main building thankfully with...

We had a lovely room in the main building thankfully with air conditioning which ensured a good nights sleep in the very comfortable bed . Dinner and breakfast were excellent with both taken out on the terrace overlooking the countryside . Whilst it is the perfect stop over en route through France we intend to make the effort and come back for a longer stay in future.

There is nothing to do or see in Cangey itself.

There is nothing to do or see in Cangey itself. The Cottages are located outside Fleuray, an other and even smaller and emptier village on a small 9 holes course, with no driving range, synthetic grass tee boxes and greens, with no par 5 and a very short par 3 requiring a lob wedge. Don't see any reason to play it twice. Amboise is a nice touristic city in the neighborhood, but 25 ton30 min drive away.

We’ve stayed at Le Fleuray many times and it never disappoints. The location, ambience, facilities, food and welcome are great and just what we look for in a hotel. Everything about it works perfectly for us. And for what you get, the price of a garden room and the restaurant menu is very affordable.

Very pleasant hotel, set in a quiet, rural location with gardens, outdoors swimming pool and seating, and a tennis court. Excellent dinner and buffet breakfast means that it would easily support a longer stay than our overnight stop. We would happily recommend and return.

This lovely hotel is an easy drive from the motorway so it’s a perfect stop over. Our room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable. Dinner was amazing. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely hotel in a rural location, not far from the autoroute on my journey south to the Pyrenees. Very quiet. particularly enjoyed the restaurant which, for a rural hotel was first class. Well done!
