Stunning location on an oxbow lake of the River Saone, L’Ile Chaumette has been beautifully renovated- the restaurant and rooms look superb. Great food both for the evening meal and the continental breakfast. Celine was a very welcoming host - we would definitely stay again.

The staff were amazingly friendly. We had an early start and despite it being earlier than the planned breakfast, they did what they could to get us coffee and croissants to go. I will definitely stay here again

Great location to break the journey travelling from South to North France. The hotel is very close to the train station but not far at all from the A6 motorway. The hotel parking was on the premises, at he back of the hotel, but we paid a little extra to use it (€8). People at the reception were very kind and they gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner as the hotel restaurant was fully booked. I stayed with my family in two rooms next to each other, they were spacious and tastefully renovated. Breakfast was terrific well worth for €14 (kids eat free).

The accommodation was excellent with wonderful staff and service. The person at the desk waited until we arrived which was later in the evening. The location of the hotel is outside of the nearest town and located in a peaceful area.

    Great location near to the autoroute very easy to find.

    Great location near to the autoroute very easy to find. Easy access you can park directly outside the entrance. Very impressive building in beautiful grounds. The room was a very high standard and generous size with tea, coffee facility. The bathroom / shower was excellent, with nice towels and there were high quality shower gels etc.. provided. The breakfast was very good. The host were welcoming and friendly and made it a nice place to stay.
