David and Natalie were fantastic, accommodating and welcoming. The accommodation was renovated to an absolutely superb standard using everything of a very high quality. The bathroom was outstandingly equipped and a beautiful shower. The breakfast was stunning, fresh and tasty with absolute quality products. A gorgeous location and we hope to stay again very soon. This Chateau is in a particularly beautiful place, very near to Chenonceau, which we also enjoyed. We had been here on our honeymoon 33 years before and we came back!! It was just as romantic and special. The restaurant in the chateau was fabulous, but very little in terms of food in Chissay in general, apart from the local patisserie, where we met a charming chap from Tunisia, (I think), who gave us his croissants at the end of the day as a packed lunch as it would only go off!!! Fairy tale like place. We also had our dog with us from UK and there was a very helpful and friendly vet, who helped us with our medication prior to returning to the UK for our dog. About 5 mins drive from the Chateau.

There's a variety of unique rooms to choose from. We chose to stay near the pool as we had our dog with us but all other rooms looked delightful. The staff were friendly, efficient and approachable. The bar area in the courtyard overlooking the pool was so tastefully done. We ate at the hotel on one of our two nights. The food was exquisite with time afforded to each course. I'd also recommend the breakfast which provided so many options in a wonderful setting. The pool area was an added bonus to a highly attractive venue.

The Hotel was absolutely charming. It had a fabulous slightly old fashioned atmosphere. Where you felt the staff really cared. The bedroom was amazing with an incredibly comfortable (and huge) bed, with excellent views over the gardens. The swimming pool was excellent slightly warmed so not as to shock. The hotel’s restaurant was delicious, although the menu limited and not suitable for vegetarians. We had an absolutely fabulous trip and will definitely be returning.

Lovely Hotel to stay in, the rooms are dated but it is a chateau so totally in keeping with the style of the place. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a day visiting Chateaux in the area. The staff were very helpful and the food was good, a little bit expensive for what you got. A very special and unique place to stay, I would highly recommend if you are in the area and we would stay again if we went back to this area. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

We were impressed from the moment we drove through the gates and entered the premises. History, charm and a distinct Chateau-feel charracterised the common parts. A lovely bedroom complemented by a spacious bathroom shortly described the Superior room we stayed in. People in search of a standardised hotel night should probably look elsewhere; people in search of an experience true to the region of Chateaux will rejoice.

Super charming, authentic hotel in a historic building, set in a great location for visiting the castles of the Loire Valley. Very good breakfast, great pool, and super kind and helpful staff. This is not a brand-new hotel, but to us it only added to the charm. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.
