Great location, only a 20 min drive to Lyon. The village itself is really pretty and has a path get the river that’s great for walking and running. I liked the countryside location as it’s what I was visiting. My room was also very pretty for the price.

I travel a lot through Europe and spend the night in the most diverse locations. For this trip I unexpectedly ended up in the B&B Hotel Massieux Genay! The hotel is located close to the A46 motorway between Villefranche-sur-Saône and Lyon and that means that I was only there to spend the night. Of course that is possible everywhere because you come across this hotel chain and many others in this segment everywhere. However (without having any shares in it:) I was charmed by the fresh and functional design of this hotel. It turns out that there are several concepts from which one can choose in advance. This hotel has recently opened and you notice that immediately upon arrival. The location is functional but if, like me, you only want a good parking space, a well-arranged room, a good bed and a functional bathroom, you are in the right place here. As an extra you get (during the times that the reception is open) a friendly multilingual welcome from the manager or his colleagues. There is a bar where you can quickly have a drink, a snack or order a nice cup of fresh coffee. However, if you have an eye for detail, you can also come across some beautiful and surprising designs in the rooms in terms of light fixtures and wall and window coverings. But also in the common areas it is modern and very neatly finished. From Yasin and Amir (I hope I spelled their names correctly) I understood that there are still enough ideas for the future. I have seen so many three stars hotel in Europe, and I can say that this Kyriad hotel situated in Limonest was by far the best I have ever seen. The hotel is very clean, the bed is so soft and breakfast was good. The neighbourhood is really quiet, not even a noise coming from outside. I always cross Lyon by car and I need a safe parking, this hotel is the best choice for this aspect too. I really recommend this hotel and for sure I will come back.

We arrived later than expected but that was no problem for the hotel. We were further met by a friendly lady. Because we are travelling with a large car and trailer, we were allocated some places so that we could park safely and practically. The lady on duty handed us the keys and gave us the necessary explanation. The rooms were very clean. You saw that they were dyeing and upgrading everything again. The room was fresh due to the air conditioning. Towels and soap provided. Breakfast was also generous. Fresh cheeses, baguettes, croissants, bread with nuts and raisins, various cold cuts, yoghurt, fruit etc. Highly recommended for us. We found our permanent hotel for our trip to Spain.

    We stayed here as an overnight stop travelling back North. The hotel was easy to find. It has a small carpark. The staff were very friendly, and made checking in very easy. We ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent. The room was comfortable and we slept really well (really large comfortable bed). I can't comment on breakfast as we had an early start. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes. Would we stay here again.. definitely.

    We liked everything about this hotel. Built around the medieval mansion, this hotel is very cozy. The room was big and clean, with a convenient and comfortable bed. The lady at the reception spoke very good English and was extremely helpful. There is a free parking onsite.

    Nicely themed hotel that suited us for a stop over whilst travelling back to UK. Rooms are simple but suited our needs. The best thing about the hotel was the food. Top quality menu of 3 courses for €32. Every course was delicious.
