Beautiful house in a lovely quiet location. The hosts were fantastic, so helpful and friendly and the house was well equipped with everything we might have needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend the dinner and breakfast options, the food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, exceptionally clean with tasteful decor. Access to a large outdoor area and parking was also great. The local people are extremely friendly and welcoming here. This is one of the best places we've stayed and would recommend it. It exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to coming back

Beautiful location, the room was cosy and everything was impeccably clean. The breakfast was simple but ample. The owners were so welcoming and helpful, they were incredibly patient with what little french I spoke and so lovely to my little one.

A huge disappointment regarding the abbey, which was the main purpose of our trip and which we were unable to visit: accessibility for people with reduced mobility is poorly catered for, and if you don't have perfectly fit legs, you have to forgo the 1.5-hour walk. Perhaps in another life!

We took a short walk to the monastery.

We took a short walk to the monastery. We would have loved a guided tour! It's an impressive complex, but we only saw the exterior. Marked walks start 500 meters away. Beautiful surroundings. Many attractions nearby. The bus stop is across the street.

Family of 13 ranging from 2yrs to 66. We loved this hotel. We only stayed for one night on route. For us this was the real deal. Fairly basic, clean and comfortable ozing character and very wonderfully french. We enjoyed a very satisfactory dinner and breakfast was delicious - not one crumb left. The most exciting surprise was that we were right next to Clairvaux prison with its amzing history and some very interesting inmates!

Great location for a stopover to see the historic Abbay/Prison while walking Via Francigena. Hotel Room had a great view of the Abbay. The restaurant served amazing local dishes... a wonderful treat for hungry pilgrims. They also provided a super hardy breakfast including going above and beyond by providing gluten-free granola and bread... super touching given that Celiac is not that common in France!

Easy stopover in a quiet location close to the autoroute where we felt safe. Restaurant at the hotel was friendly serving a tasty set menu for 13 euros (2 courses). Tea and coffee in the rooms which was a bonus. Helpful staff.

Good location for trips across Eastern France, near an Autoroute junction. l've stayed twice now Good quite traditional hotel with restaurant. Frienfly staff and excellent value.
