The building is so unusual and beautiful, very atmospheric, and although a little more upgrading is needed in places (eg. walls of the main stone staircase) this is clearly in progress. Our room was wonderful - spacious, well equipped, everything about it was top quality and very stylish. And it had amazing views! The restaurant is delightful and our dinner was first class. There is clearly a really good chef, and the waiting staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgable.

The hostess went above and behond for us! Super friendly and very helpfull. We had some car trouble and suddenly ended up staying at the nearest hotel we could find, unplanned and without looking at reviews or anything. We don't speak French, but with google translate the hostess helped us beautifully. The next day we needed to wait in the lobby after check-out to hear where we could pick up another car. When we finally did, it was a two hour taxi ride away and online we could not find a taxi service or bus to take us there.The hostess made the call for us in French and arranged everything. We are very grateful! Other then that; the hotel is very clean and breakfast was perfect. Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning, but there was a very strong fan and the room was cool during the night. Considering everything that went wrong for us that day, staying at Hotel Bel Horizon made everything a little bit better. Would 100% recommend!

The location is idyllic . Beautiful and tranquil. Staff are charming and very considerate. We had one stop with two dogs travelling to Spain. Next time we will stay longer .

Really beautiful old house with a very comfortable bed, all what you need after driving all day. Staff were super kind and, even though we arrived when the kitchen was already closed, prepared a delicious dinner for us. We really appreciated it!

The welcome and staff during stay were lovely and helpful. The menu was varied, well presented, and tasty. We found this place by chance, and we would definitely use it again.
