The outside of the building does not promise much, a bit brutal, but once you are inside, this hotel is amazing. It is welcoming and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, bed comfortable and shower was OK. I had a great night's sleep and woke up refreshed. The breakfast was generous.

Just one of many beautiful villages on the wine routes of Alsace. Feels very ‘lived in’ , not just open to tourists. Lots of seasonal events to join in with. Perfect base to explore all the area has to offer and a good alternative to staying in busier places like Colmar or Strasbourg. Nice to visit those bustling places but even nicer to come back to peace and quiet here!

Dambach-la-Ville is beautiful, both for its location amidst the vineyards and as a town in itself. At the same time, it is less touristy than, for example, Ribeauvillé or Riquewihr, and much quieter (and sleepier) than larger places like Obernai.

A very beautiful little town on the "route des vins" with many beautiful half-timbered houses, lots of charm and remarkably friendly people; only the gastronomy could offer a bit more variety - it was certainly sufficient for us, but we too would have appreciated a little more "choice".

Clean and had everything you could possibly want.

Clean and had everything you could possibly want. One morning we had cold water, but the owner quickly fixed it. The garden looks disorganized, but you can sit there on basic equipment. Otherwise, everything was fine. There's a supermarket across the street.

A very pretty little medieval town, best explored on foot to discover its beautiful houses and meet the winemakers. All the necessary shops are there. Enjoy walks in the surrounding vineyards. The mountain scenery is superb! Close to everything! Sélestat, Obernai, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Colmar, Eiguisheim… Pure bliss!

The village is ideally located.

The village is ideally located. Its location provides easy access to the many attractions of the magnificent Alsace region. We had dinner at L'Arbre Vert, a traditional restaurant in the village. Dambach has two excellent bakeries and a very convenient grocery store, as well as a weekly market.
