Situated in a tranquil setting with views over the vineyards from the little outside terrace. Our host was very friendly and left a complimentary carafe of local wine to help us settle in. The place was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything needed for your stay. Lots of information on the surrounding area should you be staying longer. Very comfortable beds too. The outside of the building does not promise much, a bit brutal, but once you are inside, this hotel is amazing. It is welcoming and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, bed comfortable and shower was OK. I had a great night's sleep and woke up refreshed. The breakfast was generous.

It is one of the smaller villages in the region, and one needs a car to go around. But, within 5-10 mins driving distance, other villages like Scherwiler and Dambach are easily accessible for restaurants and boutique and unique wineries. Very well connected with other villages with walking trails through the vineyards.!

This is a wonderfully picturesque town that is easy to walk...

This is a wonderfully picturesque town that is easy to walk around and is surrounded by vineyards. It's also within an hour's drive of cities with major attractions, like Strasbourg. Other nearby towns offer beautiful and delicious dining opportunities and photographic opportunities of nature and vernacular architecture.

Evrything was neat and clean. The staff was friendy. Not everyone speaks english but they still tried to help and gave us some good suggestions. If you want to dine in any restaurant it is better to reserve several days before. Chances are places will be fully booked.

The location of this traditional French hotel is quite impressive, our view from the room was the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg and vineyards all around. The staff were very nice and the room was clean with nice French elegance.
