Very beautiful hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. The familyroom was fantastic. Spacious and squeeky clean! The hotel and garden are immaculate. Everything is maintained up to perfection and you really get to enjoy the true France by enjoying the rural scenery and by tasting the local cuisine by having dinner in the hotel restaurant / garden. There is a great pool with nice and comfy cushioned sunbeds and as all the other facilities this is highly maintained as well. We loved it and will certainly revisit when en route to spain / South of France again via the eastern Route du Soleil.

Davide and Frederick were excellent hosts. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Davide also prepared the evening meal for us which was delicious. We spent a wonderful evening with them and left the next day after a lovely breakfast with home made yoghurt ,cake and preserves. Our stay here was a wonderful start to our holiday.

Great location for stop over travelling from uk to south of France. 15 minute detour from the motorway and absolutely worth it. Such friendly owners couldn’t do enough. Amazing, home made food, highly recommend the evening meal. All so well organised and thought through. Beds super comfortable, rooms clean. We all wanted to stay longer!! Will be back. Thank you 🙏

Wonderful friendly welcome and care from the hosts, Accommodation was superb and the evening meal was amazing. Everything was exceptionally nice. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return soon. Wonderful bird life around, including stunning colony of bee eaters.

We loved our stay at Jan's place in the heart of Burgundy.

We loved our stay at Jan's place in the heart of Burgundy. We were on our way back from Provence to the UK so stayed just one night but we could have stayed longer as there is so much to see and do in the area. Jan's home is beautiful, full of antiques he has collected over many years, and his very pretty little garden has a lovely seating area by the river. Our room was spacious, with a lovely view of the village church and, apart from the church bells (which we loved!) extremely quiet. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Jan furnished us with lots of information about the area and the chateaux to visit. We would definitely go back. Thank you, Jan.

I can not think off something i did not like.

I can not think off something i did not like. The view on the rivier, tastefully decorated original old house, good food, free wine in the garden, quiet surrounding, lovely garden etc. But most.. Jans friendly character. A perfect host!
