The host was very helpful and friendly. She served us delicious home cooked food for both our evening meal and breakfast. The room and bathroom were both comfortable and spacious - with a great shower! The place is set in the most beautiful surroundings. It all made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Located on GR7, one of the main St Jean de Compostella routes between Fanjeaux and Mirepoix, this stay is a much-needed refuge in an isolated part of the camino. Also a lovely stopover for anyone on a cycling tour. The village of Hounoux stands on a sudden hill with commanding views over the surroundings. Unpretentious, comfortable accommodation and with kindly, welcoming hosts and a view over the Razes that could scarcely be beaten. A garage to store bikes. Hosts attentive and good company at breakfast. I wish them every success. Great value in terms of price and quality of stay.

We had a fantastic week here and we absolutely loved it. Aline and Pascal are amazing. They are super welcoming and make you feel right at home. The house is great with a very comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. The surrounding countryside is magic, and there are so many places to sit, relax, eat and enjoy nature while you are there, not to mention the swimming pool when it's hot. I would highly recommend it to anyone would go back if we visit the area again.
