This is the way to enjoy the French Basque area. Get away from the crowds and enjoy beautiful countryside. Our room had a balcony where we we ended our day with wine and a charcuterie board of meats and cheese from the restaurant. Parking is offered behind the hotel but you are allowed to drop off your luggage at the entrance. The staff are kind, pleasant, and helpful. They added to the joy of our stay. I highly recommend this place.

We loved the village in this beautiful area and the atmosphere of this little hotel was great. The owner is passionate about caring for his guests and he had plenty of time to chat with everyone, providing local knowledge and useful recommendations. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Even our dog felt at home!

The area is very pretty. We had a room with a balcony which was very comfortable and we slept well in the large bed with crisp linen. The view from the balcony was amazing as was the food. Every bit of food we had was delicious and would not be out of place in a top London Restaurant. The whole experience was very special. The nearby town of Espilate was worth a visit. There is a Chilli farm where you can enjoy a tasting and buy local produce. The staff are very approachable and friendly.

    This is by far the best appointed apartment we have stayed...

    This is by far the best appointed apartment we have stayed in in France so far. Beautiful towels and linen. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. Good size fridge and freezer. Lovely bathroom. Comfortable living area. Great size bedroom with an opening window for fresh air. Parking only steps away. Peaceful and spectacular views. Hosts very friendly and respectful. Never heard them although they are just above in the main house. We would recommend to people who want to stay on this area. Well worth travelling a little.
