We visited this hotel roughly 4 years ago from Australia, just when the couple took over the family business. Our stay then was fantastic, in particular the restaurant. As it was so good it was essential to add to our 12-day family hike with our adult kids through the Alsace to enjoy again. On arrival, we were extremely impressed at the level of investment and upgrades to the overall facility and rooms. We were welcomed at the door, cold drinks in the courtyard and impressive, modern and spacious rooms. In the 4 years since our last visit, the restaurant continues to develop and improve its craft, we wish we could dine here every week. Everything was excellent value, and in fact the lowest overall cost of the stay for a night across the 12 days. We will come back again, maybe cycling next time. Thank you for hosting us for an amazing stay.

Lily is an amazing host. She was really welcoming and made sure everything was just great during our stay. We were driving from the Netherlands to Italy, and made a stop at La maison de Lili. The bed was great. The room was clean and Guebwiller was a nice village to walk to. Last but definitely not least, we loved Lili her homemade breakfast! C’est magnifique. We definitely recommend this place!

Cannot find a fault, lovely modern large room with comfy bed & en-suite bathroom. Much appreciated cool water and wine waiting in the fridge, especially after long day on the bike in sweltering (mid-thirties) heat. Separate entry via outside fire escape-type ladder onto lovely balcony with a nice view.

    There are only few hotels around this lovely part of Alsace, and we were lucky to find this one. Rooms are clean, cute and have a special character, we might say they even look a bit like a dollhouse style. But comfortable, with AirCon. Hosts are friendly and caring, hotel has a great parking area and is located inside the little village but within grasp of nature and Thierenbach church and surroundings. We would consider this place great value for money.

    The dinner food at the restaurant was fantastic! The hotel is run by a lovely couple who were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms and beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for a second stay! Perfectly placed for driving south, e.g. to the Italian lakes, if you want to stop off on the drive down close to the Swiss border. The photos definitely don't do this place justice!

    well the hotel itself is cute, has a charm and the pool area is really nice. not too crowded and the rooms are huge..also the balcony is very nice overlooking the forest.
