La Maison Sur La Sorgue is absolutely stunning. A gorgeous old mansion beautifully renovated right in the centre of the old town. Frederick is the most charming and thoughtful host. The rooms are divine and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast Frederick served was like a work of art. The cutlery was so cute we purchased a set from Frederick’s store next door. We loved every moment and will definitely be back again. Thank you Frederick for creating such a beautiful place to stay.

Staff were excellent - helping with bike storage and accommodating an early morning departure. Pool was excellent. Breakfast courtyard was beautiful. Nice selection of food. Loved the access to the Sorgue river - albeit very chilly!

Lovely people, fantastic quiet location, great breakfasts and gastro dinners. Jeanne, Baptiste and Romalia were all great and so friendly. When a thunderstorm hit during al fresco dining the staff moved us indoors with the minimum of fuss and continued with service. Exceptional.

The hotel is located on the Bassin, which my room overlooked, I therefore had a lovely picturesque view of the bassin, cafes along the waters edge and ducks paddling in the water. The room was a good size with a small terrace which was a perfect place for viewing life around the bassin. The bed was very comfortable.

Have visited before and we weren't disappointed the second time. It was lovely walking along the canals and watching the ducks. There's a wonderful olive farm called Moulin du Calanquet 44 minutes drive and definitely worth a visit with a beautiful shop.

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a very beautiful and interesting town. Exceptional markets on Thursdays and Sundays. Many fabulous galleries and museums to visit, and plenty of choices for restaurants and bars. Easy to walk around and get to know. Lots of statues and sculptures and places to just sit and absorb the ambience.

Excellent town to base yourself for 3-5 days.

Excellent town to base yourself for 3-5 days. Wandering around town in cafes, shops and restaurants along the canals. Cycle hire recommended for a day trip out to the countryside. Within 1 hour you can explore Provence Lavender fields and Monastries, beautiful old historic French villages and lovely countryside.

Great little town with lots of antique and brica-brac stores to see. Lots of choices of restaurants to choose from. Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you're staying in walking distance of the village.

It's hard to describe this amazing boutique hotel in the heart of an amazing town. The building is a former convent and 500 years old. You can feel the history as you climb the stone steps to your room. The owners pay attention to every detail and it shows. They are continuing to make it better with massage rooms, yoga studios, 2 pools, furnished apartments, etc. I had breakfast on a metal balcony over a bubbling stream. It was the highlight of my trip in Provence. I'd love to come back with my husband or a girl's trip.

The property is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms are large, well appointed, amazing facilities, yet quiet and boutique to provide personalised service. Our experience was especially valuable when the team helped us changing our plans the night before the stay to accommodate for a family emergency and then revert it back when it got resolved. I didn’t really expect it but was amazed with the treatment we received, to say the least.

We really loved staying here at the end of our honeymoon. We had a fabulous room on the ground floor and felt wrapped up in nature, surrounded by trees and vegetation.The peaceful location of the hotel near the river was beautiful and we were able to fully relax in the quietness. Very helpful staff and messaging ahead of our stay always helpful.Loads to do in the vicinity and just down the road from the centre of town.

We loved staying in Nicolas' house which was clean and spacious. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was only a short walk to the heart of LʼIsle-sur-la-Sorgue. Nicolas' communication was great and he looked after everything we needed for our stay.
