We were warmly welcomed by Joelle and Jean-Francois who patiently shared their knowledge of how they had developed their property and of the local area. They kindly reserved a superb dinner in nearby Cadouin at our request. We enjoyed use of their pool with amazing views over the surrounding landscape. The room was spacious with en-suite bathroom and all needed amenities. A delicious breakfast was served alongside the pool to likewise benefit from the landscape views.

This was a great stay in the Perigord and the location was perfect for exploring the region. Gerard made the experience personal and had great suggestions for things to do in the local area. He served a delicious breakfast outdoors with something new to try every day! Surroundings were quiet with beautiful wild meadow views from the pool. As there are only a few rooms, it was calm and relaxing with plenty of space for everyone. Facilities in the room were wonderful, including a large fridge, kettle and microwave to make your own meals. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Gerard!

This is a really lovely small family run hotel in a great location, just off the main road on the banks of the river with a beautiful view from the terrace. We had a nice comfortable room with air conditioning, which helped a little in 30 degrees! Excellent dinner in the evening and a great breakfast out on the terrace. This was perfect for our one night stopover between destinations.

Interesting town on the Dordogne, great access close to Cadouin, which has an 11th Century Monastery. There is a lo to visit in the area; Belves, Montpanzier and lots more lovely towns and villages. We ate in restaurant call La Syphonnie, Great steak and very good local wine.

A pleasant large village.

A pleasant large village. Easy access to main roads leading to many places worth visiting eg Beynac, Bergerac and the Bastides. Friendly staff in the boulangerie. Traditional market on Fridays is worth visiting.

The Périgord is a region for nature and culture enthusiasts: from cave paintings – up to 20,000 years old – to the Hundred Years' War, religious conflicts (Huguenots versus Catholics), and the French Revolution – all this is wonderfully documented by the castles, châteaux, and fortified towns. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers are perfect for kayaking – simply wonderful.

This is the 2nd time I stay at L’Intemporelle. I came back because i’d had an excellent experience the last time. I love this place as it is incredibly tastefully done all around (the rooms, the garden), super clean and run by the nicest people, Aurore and Thierry. Aurore’s breakfasts are at 5 star hotel level (if not better) and the area is amazing. I strongly recommend! :)

Lovely village surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff members are extremely attentive and generous. All of the restaurants were closed in the village and I had not packed food for the night. The staff kindly offered me ingredients for dinner - it saved me!

Lovely hotel run by a delightful couple, Michelle and Ann-e. They could not do enough for us and made our stay very special. The hotel has a echo of the Far East as the owners have constructed a Chinese garden which is wonderful to wander around.

The apartment is on a lovely cottage with a super nice host. The apartment is spacious and has a place to sit outside to eat and relax. There is a great restaurant in walking distance and all the landmarks in easy driving distance.
