The thoughtful and caring attitude of François, the owner. He offered us bikes with maps, made us a beautiful breakfast each morning, an apéritif in the evening, a Cruise down the canal in the evening and à free massage. Such treatment! The room was very comfortable and clean with all conveniences, set in a lovely garden with swimming pool.

Very friendly couple who were excellent at communicating and assisting as we were running late. The place is charming, comfortable and clean, and they cooked a wonderful breakfast of fresh egg omelette, freshly squeezed juice, home made waffles and coffee.

A beautiful house and location... What a charming and peaceful place. The guest quarters are very spacious, comfortable and well designed with many thoughtful touches. Charming and kind hostess Noémie who messaged us about midday to say the apartment was ready for us to check in any time. Such a lovely change from the inflexible hosts who have late check-ins and will not accommodate an earlier arrival at a reasonable time. The apartment was tiny but functional and had an inner courtyard which was very secure for our bikes. Great location within easy walking distance of town and restaurants.

Casa Upada was just beautiful, the host was lovely and the room was exactely like the photos on Booking.com, absolutely nothing to dislike at all. The old Roman theme was quite unique and the shower room was the largest I have ever been in. The hosts had thought of everything and the breakfast was just superb, truely a 10 out of 10. At last the weather permited a swim.
