The family room is huge & spacious. There are 4 of us and we could easily move around in the room without bumping into each other. The bed & pillows are so comfortable. We slept very well. There are many restaurants, bakeries near the hotel and about 8 minutes drive to town. We are on our way to Spain and this hotel is perfect for 1 night stay for us.

It's a good idea to base yourself in Marsat to explore the...

It's a good idea to base yourself in Marsat to explore the Clermont-Ferrand region and visit the Puy de Dôme, the Volvic springs, the Gergovie plateau, the Lemptégy volcano, etc., but you'll need a car if you want to go out to eat in the evening. The village has charm, but it's a bit lifeless in terms of atmosphere.
