Check in was easy with the host meeting us and we were able to organise to ring the bell for her to meet us rather than calling which was appreciated as we didn’t have local phone service. The property has a secure gate and we were able to park our car close to the apartment entrance. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep- despite being near a main road it was very quiet. There is air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom area but it was unexpectedly cool so we didn’t need to use this. The kitchen facilities were good for making a meal and a lovely breakfast was provided of fresh baguette with spreads, yoghurt, fruits, cake, and muesli.

First i liked the front office staff. I’m bad at remembering names but the sweet lady at night shift with the young gentleman who I believe had a Brazilian background made our stay the best, helped me with parking and the smiles they had on their faces welcoming me and my dogs and my girl was just wonderful to see after a long drive. Kudos to the staff

    We loved the historic home and lovely gardens.

    We loved the historic home and lovely gardens. It was fun for our grandchildren to stay in the "cottage" behind the house. The hostess Claire was very friendly and offered us nice tips to enjoy the area. We enjoyed hearing about the history of this former winery, and we felt that we were having an authentic French experience. We would gladly return to this lovely place!
