The Laurels We stayed here one night February 27, but after that night wish it could have been for a longer stay. Paul and Peggy are the best hosts you could hope for. As I booked this stay in May 2022 for the February 2023 stay and in between my booking and the stay the open times of the house have changed they were nice enough to honor the dates of our stay. From the moment of arrival they could not do enough for us. Starting with the complimentary drink and you must book the dinner. It is an excellent meal handcrafted by Peggy from fresh. The room was warm, spacious and comfy. The bathroom was a wee bit tight but it is more than adequate. The house is a little off the beaten path but makes for a very quiet and relaxing stay. I highly recommend staying here if you are anywhere near Limoges. You shant be disappointed.

We had an amazing night at the chateau! There are 1000 beautiful details here that can be looked at endlessly. Vintage furniture, portraits and the whole chateau in general create incredible atmosphere Separately, I would like to note the hospitality of the owner - Louis! He is so nice and intelligent person! He gave us very interesting tour and told many intriguing things about the chateau and his family. Unique experience! Don’t think - just book ♥️

We chose this property as we were visiting Oradour Sur Glane, scene of a WW11 village massacre and it was about 22 minutes away. The property was in a nice quiet spot down a country lane. Less than a 5 minute drive from Nouic. There was free Wi-Fi in public areas. Sue and Ron couldn’t do enough for us, just as previous reviews have said. We arrived in the afternoon of what was a national French holiday, we were worried that nowhere would be open to eat. Sue made a call and managed to get us in at a lovely restaurant at Mortemart, which was about a 10 min drive away. The rear garden was lovely with plenty of seats and we had a nice drink in the sun. The continental breakfast was excellent and plenty of it, served in a nice breakfast room.

This B&B is fantastic - our whole family loved its and would stay again gladly. The village is idyllic, and has hiking trails through woods that start just feet from the front door. Our single large family room (for us 2 parents, and our 2 teenagers) was spacious and comfortable. And, the hosts were extremely kind and conscientious. Our particular family also loved the fact that they had dogs and cats that we caught sight of in the courtyard and were able tot say hello to :-).
