The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Moissac. There is ample free parking available. We were greeted very warmly by Emily (hope that’s the correct spelling) who speaks excellent English. The rooms, are spacious, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. We had a terrace overlooking the pool. The restaurant serves good food and is reasonably priced. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

You don’t expect too much from a two star hotel but the Pont Napoleon was excellent- and better than the three star hotel I stayed in the previous night. Descent breakfast, clean and large room, a bit tired but all very clean and parking nearby. I would stay there again.

It was a gorgeous little appartment with everything we needed! We were able to do laundry and dry it outside. The bathroom was really comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Last but not least, the location was amazing! In a little backstreet of the main square with all the restaurants!! We will definitely go back if we're in the area!!!

Moissac is a small town with a big and important abbey.

Moissac is a small town with a big and important abbey. We loved the relaxed atmosphere (eg free parking), the covered market open in the morning with fresh produce, the restaurants and cafes in near to the abbey. We also enjoyed a free concert in the abbey itself after a downpour ended chances of an outdoor performance. We found the people friendly and helpful. There are a range of eating options and a lovely walk along the canal. Moissac is also a good place from which to explore the surrounding area including bastides, some of which are virtually tourist-free (at least when we visited).

Moissac old town square is great but I would not stay...

Moissac old town square is great but I would not stay anywhere else in Moissac. I was there on a Monday and all of the cute little shops were closed. We ate at a great little place called La Terrasse. The food was delicious but the service was a little slow which was the case at most eating establishments in France. If you don't speak French expect to wait. : (. The train station was within walking distance. I love the trains in France. So easy to get around.

Excellent place for a day trip, or a stop over on the Canal de Garonne. Be warned though, not much to do at night, and a bit of a weird vibe from all the workers who have moved in to the central old city area.

The accommodation was a mistake.

The accommodation was a mistake. The appliances didn’t work, nor did the door lock system. Couldn’t go out and if I did couldn’t get back in. Manager unavailable most of the. Time. Lots of apologies, but after the owner agreed to return my money, they did not. No a good place, not a good manager. Not a good owner. Not a good idea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house which was a treasure trove of interesting art and artefacts. It has a lovely rose garden and outdoor seating area and the added delight of a swimming pool. However, the greatest treasures of this delightful hotel are the hosts and chef Christophe and Jean-Claude who were so welcoming and fun. We had dinner there on two nights and it was truly delicious and entertaining. The rooms are very well appointed with best quality linens and very comfortable beds.

This is a good, basic hotel which is good value. The big plus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager/owner(?). Our room was spacious with a good view of the river. Breakfast was good. Good location within walking distance of everything.

Quirky, cosy, friendly. Great location for a stroll into Moissac. Francoise was friendly and helpful. This really is someone's home and a much nicer experience than a hotel chain. Home made jams at breakfast. Great value for money.

This is a lovely hotel just a short walk from the centre of the town. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. There is plenty of secure parking.
