Very friendly owners- gave us a great tip about where to eat within walking distance . Amazing views across the bay from our room and you could walk directly out onto the beach . Very comfortable bed and there was a fridge in the room- we find this useful.We only stayed one night as we had a ferry to catch from St Malo , but would liked to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again.

The property was equipped and decorated to a very high standard. It was great to have our own private space but also to know that our hosts, Rose and Charlie, were always on hand to help if required. The location is excellent for day trips to Saint Malo, Dinan and Mont Saint Michel. The parking space is a big bonus and the breakfast delivered to our door every morning was excellent. All in all, this was like a home from home for us and Rose and Charlie made us feel like part of the family. We would have no hesitation in returning here some day and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to visit this part of Brittany.

We had the most wonderful stay at Clos de Morière and can’t...

We had the most wonderful stay at Clos de Morière and can’t recommend it highly enough. Nestled in the peaceful countryside just outside Mont-Dol, the location is perfect for exploring the coast and historic towns nearby, from Mont Saint-Michel and Cancale to Dinan and Saint-Malo, while offering total calm and privacy at the end of the day. The property itself is stunning. The gardens are beautifully kept, with space for children to play and plenty of quiet corners to relax in. The rooms are elegant and spacious, with real attention to detail: comfortable beds, tasteful decor, and thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented. What really sets Clos de Morière apart is the hosts. Dominique and Patrice are exceptional, warm, welcoming and always ready to help. They gave brilliant advice on where to go, what to see and where to eat, taking into account the ages and interests of our children. Nothing was too much trouble, and their kindness made us feel completely at home. They were particularly lovely with the kids, offering tips on family-friendly beaches, child-friendly walks and nearby attractions. You can tell they care deeply about making each guest’s stay special. This is the kind of place you remember, not just for its beauty and location, but for the generosity and care of the people who run it. We’re already thinking about when we can return.

There is not much to Mont-Dol itself, but it was fun to...

There is not much to Mont-Dol itself, but it was fun to drive around the Mont and to climb the tower in the park at the top for the sweeping view. I did not visit the windmill and shop in that park, although it looked like there was an interesting small exhibit there. Dol-de-Bretagne is the nearby small city, with places to shop and a cathedral.

lovely lovely place, if you want a real feel for the French countryside this is the place to go. lovely beaches a short drive away, the bed was firm but very comfy, the place is dog friendly which was a win for us. parking available right on site. we slept so well, even though the hotel was fully booked there is brilliant sound proofing and we didn't get woken up at all. thank you !
