Very welcoming and friendly host, very comfortable bed in a good sized bed room with a lovely view, good breakfast and great location. Good value. Many restaurants in nearby Bergerac so no evening meal on site is no problem. A very pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Les Rocailles. Monique and William were exceptionally welcoming, even giving us a ride before our friends' wedding and suggesting some local activities. Breakfast in the garden, with fresh local products, was a real treat. Each room is uniquely decorated with thoughtful vintage touches to reflect the style of a famous French figure (we were lucky to get Brigitte Bardot's suite). It's clear how much care and passion they've put into renovating this beautiful old building. Les Rocailles has a charm all its own—highly recommended!

Location was perfect, just a few minutes stroll into town and very quiet with a few boulangeries and bars within 200 metres…and a good pizzeria too! The apartment was clean and had everything for a comfortable and relaxing break. We didn’t meet the owner but a few messages passed between us that were really helpful. We travel frequently and definitely recommend!!

    We arrived late at the property but just in time for dinner. We were already checked in and shown to your rooms which were spacious, overlooking the piscine area. Dinner was most delicious, the design of the hotel is rustic new. Simple but elegant. The rooms were very comfortable and bright with large windows. The breakfast had a lovely choice of foods. We would love to return to enjoy the hotel more. Staff were excellent.

    Great hotel and outstanding restaurant. Lovely pool area . Nice big rooms in an old converted chateau with a contemporary feel, great terrace for evening drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic cycling

    The staff were welcoming and the hotel is lovely. Air con in the rooms very much appreciated in the hot weather. The area is quiet and peaceful and the restaurant is fantastic.
