Brandon was incredibly hospitable. Carpe Diem is beautiful, the room we stayed in was small but perfectly fine for 2 of us. The decor was beautiful. The garden was lovely, and having parking at the back was super.

This little house in the beautiful pictures village is a perfect relaxing way to get into France mood. We had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and allowed early check in. Once we settled in it was comfy and cosy. Close to village centre and shop. I will visit again for longer stay. Loved it

Good and easy-to-find hotel, near the A6 motorway. Ideal for a stopover. Be sure to visit Noyers, a medieval village. Very beautiful! We ate at La Beursadière in Nitry: very good, but definitely make a reservation! The Courte Paille restaurant next to the hotel had been closed since June... (fortunately, perhaps).

Nitry is close to Chablis, Sancerre, the Saussois rocks, Colette's house in Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye, Vézelay, the castles of Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc, etc., but the village itself has no shops. It is therefore necessary to plan to have dinner at a hotel. Advantage: Nitry is 2 km from the A6 motorway (Nitry exit).

We returned after a few years for the hotel, which was tied...

We returned after a few years for the hotel, which was tied to sentimental sentiments, but otherwise it offers nothing; no bar, no historical remains, the only grocery store (with decidedly few discount items) had no cold drinks, and the church, a sizeable one, was completely abandoned. We don't think we'll return.

The small village itself is unremarkable but offers the tranquility of the countryside just minutes from the motorway. It's a perfect place for a stopover or for visiting the surrounding sites: Chablis, Vézelay, etc.

This is an old quaint and quirky auberge with vaulted cellars, a wooden gallery and stone flagged floors. The place could be just out of the Three Musketeers. Our room was an old cattle byre, but extremely well decorated and furnished with excellent facilities. We ate in nearby historic Noyers as the hotel's restaurant was not open which was idyllic. The village itself is quiet but 2 mins off the Autoroute which you cannot hear.

Easy access from the mway. 15min walk to Auberge..careful on road...well worth it...may need to get there early without a booking as popular. Hotel welcoming, good parking for motorbikes.heaters in the room to dry stuff on our road trip....
