Noyelles-sur-Mer is a small village that's close to some of the best tourist spots in the Baie of the Somme. You can walk around it in an hour. There's a train service, and a local tourist steam train that connects with the bigger towns of Le Crotoy and St Valerie sur Somme. There aren't a lot of eating options - one bistro - but there are lots round about, and the area has some stunning local produce. So definitely a place for foodies. Good for historians too; there are war cemeteries round about, and the Chinese Cemetery for indentured labourers. There's also an interesting local potter. Note: Although it's called "sur-Mer" it is in fact some distance from the sea.
