We had a wonderful night chez Tombivouac. Beautiful location, comfortable, clean. Our 5 year old was so happy to stay here; we made lovely memories, watching the stars and listening to the owls. Thomas offers a warm welcome and is always available. Great breakfast on the terrace. I highly recommend stopping here for a beautiful experience.

Lovely and stylish place in front of the castle, very tastefully decorated… Room was large with a beautiful bathroom. Excellent breakfast with homemade jam and croissant The owners are extremely nice , friendly and helpful. These people are passionate about their job and know how to please their guests from A to Z. The lady gave me some valuable and useful information about sympathetic places to visit in the surroundings. I am very grateful for that.. I highly recommend this extraordinary guesthouse.

We visited Pierrefonds because my daughters loved the show...

We visited Pierrefonds because my daughters loved the show Merlin, but found the castle to be so much more than just the set of a TV show. I had read blogs and watch videos about others visiting the castle which mentioned that the town was not much of anything, but we found in to be charming. We would have eaten dinner in the town the night before we visited the castle instead of just grabbing something on the way, but because of the negative feedback I didn't know about the nice looking restaurants on the banks of a small lake.

Pierrefonds is a very cool castle. We went because my daughter watched the show Merlin and wanted to see it but we all really enjoyed it. The town is also very charming and it worth spending some time in.

The location is superb with a view across the end of the lake to the wonderful chateau. Overall, the hotel is traditional and a little tired but still comfortable, the staff are excellent. The evening meal was served on the terrace across the road in a nice relaxed atmosphere although the steak was disappointing. The starters were both good as was the sweet course. In the morning, we enjoyed a good continental breakfast with excellent choice and good pleasant service. Our pets, two miniature dachshunds were made welcome.

Wow, what a place! Seriously, private parking with gates, garden and the most amazing views of Pierrefonds Chateau. Super comfy beds and lots of space for a family. The property is immaculate inside, you've got everything you need to cook yourselves. A lovely village an easy walk from the property and a good base to explore. We went to Belgium for the afternoon, why not? A beautifully presented accommodation, if I had the money I'd buy it as a holiday home without question. Highly recommend.

The camping is beautifully located on a field in a nice hilly and wooded surrounding not far from Pierrefonds. The biggest plus though was the hospitality of the owner who was very kind and even took me for a walk. The breakfast was wonderful too; delicious and wonderfully presented. All in all a perfect and memorable stay.
