We needed a stop on our way down from Sheffield to the South of France for Christmas. I liked the photos of this Chambre d'hote as it looked clean, comfortable and the communications with Florence and Olivier were very, very good (despite my not being able to fill a booking form in correctly). All was solved and despite a nightmare of a journey from Calais to Collemieres, our hosts were very supportive when we arrived nearly 2 hours later than planned due to bad weather and traffic problems on the ring road around Paris. We were welcomed warmly and with a lovely, tasty meal. The accommodation was comfortable and breakfast plentiful (only sorry we couldn't do it justice as neither my daughter nor I really eat - we're mainly coffee drinkers for the first couple of hours of being awake). I will certainly be staying again - what more could you ask for - comfortable, welcoming accommodation, friendly hosts and cats!!!! Thank you for a lovely stay, Florence and Olivier, it was a very quick trip this time, but hopefully, we can do a longer one at another time. I still have your card in my purse.

It is a really, really nice place. The cottage was super sweet and had everything you need. There is place for 4 people to sleep and you can even Park your Car inside the garden. It was very Cozy and warm and very quiet and perfect to relax. Stéphanie is a really nice host, who also helped me and made me feel safe, when I had Problems with my Car. I can really recommend to stay here! In the morning you can also enjoy watching goats eating grass on the surrounded hill. Amazing and thank you!

The apartment is decorated to a very high standard. The host seems to have thought of everything. There's a coffee pod machine, an excellent roomy shower and a tv with Prime and Netflix. The place was spotless on arrival and the bed is really comfortable. Simple check-in procedure and easy contact with concierge if needed (we didn't). The area is quiet overnight. Villeneuve-sur-Yonne is bigger than we thought, though not a lot going on locally it makes a great base to explore the surrounding area. Local train station with 1 hour ride into Paris. We would definitely book L'expedition again if we're back this way. Many thanks

Friendly host who was very helpful, cheerful and advised places to eat locally. We had a lovely breakdast with juice, coffee, tea, bread, croissants, and homemade jam. The fully fitted kitchen was rustic and had everything we needed, including a fridge to keep our own provisions cool. We enjoyed ditting in the courtyard with a glass of wine. Very friendly dog and cat 🐈 🐕
