The hotel itself is great in that everything works as it should, plenty of free parking, good lighting, blackout blinds (although light comes in from the corridor round the door), the internet is ideal for work video calls, and it’s kept clean. Rooms and bathrooms are perfectly comfortable and functional, well-maintained, thoughtfully styled, warm with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is coffee, juice, toast, cereal, etc. Staff are nice. What seriously lets it down are 3 things: there are no hand basins in the toilets so you have to go back to your room and touch the keypad and door handle before washing your hands. The outside area of the hotel is littered with rubbish and cigarette ends so it needs a proper clean, and you have to walk through smokers to get in and out - it feels really icky. There are always men from third world countries hanging around in the entrance (they’re staying at the hotel) and smoking wherever they like including in corridors and rooms, walking around noisily and banging doors and talking loudly in the corridors at night, and playing videos on their phones late into the night with their bedroom doors open, and leaving the toilets in a disgusting state. If the staff would police these people to behave like respectable humans instead of reprobates the hotel would be clean, safe, and quiet enough to get some sleep.

Very high quality rooms and facilities. Large room with balcony and inside sitting area. The hotel staff were all lovely and chatty. They arranged adjacent rooms for me & my wife and my daughter & son - great for a family break. Great full bath in both ensuites. Plush nightgowns. Fridge. Coffe maker. Great wifi. Quiet town but very close (30 mins) to Geneva.

The location of the hotel is good, close to Geneva and and within one hour driving from Chamonix, Yvoire and Annecy. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast very good with several options yogurt, ham, cheese, eggs, croissants and good coffee. The staff was very attentive with the clients and the dog was the mascot of the hotel, entertaining the clients with his ball.

St. Cergues is a pleasant little town in itself, but we didn't choose it for its tourist appeal; we were there to visit family. The area around St. Cergues, however, is full of attractions, starting with Geneva.

The staff were very welcoming, and the premises were clean.

The staff were very welcoming, and the premises were clean. The decor wasn't great, especially in my room. The only downside was the cracked wall by the window in my room, and the window frame was hanging loose. Luckily, the heating worked well. However, it was noisy in the morning with the doors slamming.
