The host was such a friendly man ( and good looking! ) with a sense of humour. When we were sitting in the garden he brought us a glass of his exquisite home made liqueur. He was interesting and good to chat with. It us personal experiences like these that make a place exceptional.

This is the perfect spot to be to slow things down and enjoy your stay. We stayed here because of its proximity to the mountains and being out of Grenoble. Drive up a rising road to the building with the "HOTEL" sign on top only a few minutes from town. Close to a lovely bakery, grocery store, and laundromat. The breakfast was typical Euro style but the dinner that they are capable of every night was excellent. I can see why it's an attraction that people flock to in the area for. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed.

The location was excellent - easy to get into Grenoble by public transport. The staff were exceptionally helpful and appeared very happy. They did seem quite short staffed - particularly in the restaurant but they were efficient and never complained!
