Very friendly and helpful owner who waited up for us when we arrived late from the Dieppe ferry. The room was clean, lovely and the decor was lovely. This was set in a very beautiful location and we would love to come back for a onger stay to explore the area.

There's nothing but utter pleasure to stay in this beautiful b&b. The hostess is super friendly, you get a house for yourselves with a patio, kitchen and two bedrooms! The village is cute with a small river path for walks/cycling. We don't want to leave this place.

St-Hellier and surrounding villages and hamlets together...

St-Hellier and surrounding villages and hamlets together with the nearby market town of Saint Saens are beautiful places in the stunning Pay de Bray clay vale district of Normandy with typical brick and wood architecture and steep sloped scarplands forested by beech woods and open to walkers and horse riders. The petite gite is a perfect cottage located by the Varenne river with wonderful views over the countryside giving visitors a memorable taste of rural Normandy.

St. Hellier is far enough inland to be very quiet, yet close...

St. Hellier is far enough inland to be very quiet, yet close enough to easily reach Dieppe and Tréport. A Carrefour supermarket is located in Saint-Saëns (8 km). The gîte, in a typical old Norman house, is perfectly equipped for two people. Deserves an extra star.
