The room is off the restaurant. It was fun being in the restaurant when the customers had left. The staff were helpful and the bedroom was clean with a comfortable bed.

The location was central and the host made every possible effort to make sure that I found it. The property is modern/new and well equipped. The log burning fire was welcome

Very good place to stay and exploring the surroundings. The wooden chalet-bungalow is lovable and my daughters enjoyed it so much.

My room was modern and spacious within a 19C high street hotel Guests need to be able to climb up and down stairs easily The staff were helpful and made a reservation for me at a nearby restaurant - which was excellent. Dinner was not served on site when I stayed. Breakfast was on site & very good

Beautiful design. Very cozy. The bed linen is something special. And the restaurant!!!! It's worth the trip just for that.

We had had a long days driving and had stayed in a really miserable hotel the night before for €110. Domaine de Barres was heaven. Lovely service from the lady on the front desk, great facilities, good food and a fantastic view. Would definitely recommend and stay there again
