The location is superb. The grounds are magnificent. We stayed two nights and left very reluctantly. We ate in both restaurants and the food and service were superb - particularly in Le Savran. Breakfast was also a gourmet meal and was so generous that we didn’t need lunch. The charming manageress couldn’t have been more helpful and even managed to serve us some lunch when we arrived - even though the kitchen had already closed. Our room was wonderful. In fact it was the best place we stayed on our vacation. They also speak fluent English.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Thee was a kettle with some portions of tea and coffee which was very nice. It was also well heated. The staff was very helpful and polite. The location is very good, 10 minutes from Caen center (by car) and easy to find. There was free parking at the hotel premises.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to our schedule. We even showed up a little early and they were happy to hold our bags, let us up to our room to grab something, etc. I have never had a hotel be that accommodating.
